Sunlight entering the water creates conditions that can support algae. LakeTint reduces light penetration to help suppress algae and weed growth. Its non-toxic formulation is safe for fish and other wildlife when used as directed, making it suitable for managed ponds, lakes and fisheries. Black is designed for a mirror-reflective finish, while Blue is developed primarily for commercial algae and weed control.

Yes. Both LakeTint Black and LakeTint Blue are non-toxic and safe for fish, wildlife and plant life.
LakeTint Black has a standard treatment rate of 1 litre per 500,000 litres of water. LakeTint Blue treats up to 2.5 million litres of water per litre.
Both products should be reapplied monthly to maintain colour and effectiveness. Water with high sun exposure may fade faster and require earlier reapplication.
LakeTint Blue can be used as a leak tracer in waters where fish are present.
LakeTint Black and LakeTint Blue are both available in 1 litre and 5 litre liquid concentrates.
