From our base in the Northwest, Tolbest began by specialising in tracing dyes, drain-testing equipment and dyes used to mark waste food. During its early years, our range expanded to include rodent tracking dusts and other specialist products, building the foundations of the business we are today.
From public-sector utilities and global distributors to food manufacturers, pest-control specialists and award-winning estates, our products are used wherever a clear, reliable result is needed.
What connects these very different applications is the specialist knowledge behind them and the confidence that Tolbest products will perform consistently. It’s an approach that has helped us build customer relationships spanning decades, with some continuing for 28 years…and counting.

Tolbest supplies distributors, equipment providers, public-sector and regulated organisations, field operators and businesses purchasing products for supply under their own brand. Each may buy or use our products differently, but all depend on consistent performance, practical support and clear information.
Specialist manufacturing
Tolbest’s expertise lies in specialist products developed for defined applications, rather than general-purpose products. All of our products are formulated, manufactured, mixed, blended, filled and packed at our own site in Warrington, where they are produced and supplied under the Tolbest brand. We also have the capability to manufacture and supply products on a white-label or contract-manufacturing basis.
